Precast concrete for railways and built environments.
Based in Kom Abu Radi, Beni Suef, IH Pre-cast manufactures prestressed concrete products using long-line casting, steam curing and semi-automatic casting equipment. Production capacity is annual bearer production capacity of 40,000 linear metres, with expansion described as a plan rather than current capacity.
The portfolio includes turnout and crossing bearers, railway sleepers, parking wheel stops and interlocking paving tiles. An in-house mold workshop supports custom product development. Quality control covers concrete, aggregates and static bending tests.
Manufacturing facilities include twin-bed long-line casting, in-bed steam curing, semi-automatic casting and prestressed-concrete production. Quality facilities include concrete testing, aggregate testing and washing, and static bending tests.
Production capacity is capacity of 40,000 linear metres of bearers per year, up to 1,500 parking wheel stops per month and 15,000 square metres of interlocking paving per month. Expansion of bearer capacity to 100,000 linear metres per year is described as a plan. Bearers are documented as installed on the Egyptian National Railways network and at locations in the UAE and GCC.
Product development: ballastless-track concrete slabs, New Jersey road barriers with optional reflectors and customized precast walls are listed as potential products, rather than established current stock. The internal mold-manufacturing workshop supports the design and manufacture of products to customer requirements.
