Reliability in motion
EXPERTISE WITH PURPOSE
Established in 2022, Industrial House for Rotating Equipment Services supports oil and gas, petrochemicals, power generation, fertilizer, and water and wastewater operations.
Services cover mechanical seal repair and supply, dry gas seal troubleshooting, installation and startup, pump repair, vibration analysis, alignment and balancing. The work process runs from site inspection and diagnosis to a technical proposal, repair or supply, testing and ongoing support.
Workshop tools and capabilities include ultrasonic cleaning, sandblasting, lapping and polishing, optical flatness testing, mechanical-seal testing as being to API 682, laser alignment and portable vibration analysis.
The service workflow comprises site inspection, problem diagnosis, a technical proposal, repair or supply, testing and commissioning, and ongoing support. Case studies include agitator-seal replacement for NCIC's aluminum sulphate factory, mechanical-seal repair for GASCO's Amreya LPG recovery plant, and a seal sleeve and gland modification for NCIC at Ain Sokhna.

John Crane 8B1/GU1S1/PG seal repair, June 2025.
Selection and supply of new mechanical seals for industrial rotating equipment, together with repair of mechanical wet seals.
Industrial filters supplied as part of the rotating-equipment spares and consumables portfolio.
Barrier liquids supplied within the rotating-equipment service center's product and consumables offering.
Spare parts and consumables supporting the maintenance and repair of industrial rotating equipment.
Repair and return to service of mechanical seals for the Amreya LPG Recovery Plant,. In this project, an initial quotation of a quoted EGP 240,000 repair and a six-month lead time with a service-center repair costing EGP 150,000, completed in one month under a 'No Cure, No Pay' condition. Following the repair, the repaired seal had been installed and operating for three months; a further three seals had also been repaired.
Replacement mechanical seals from Leakend Sealing System for NCIC's aluminum sulphate factory. The case study documents reduced procurement cost and lead time, together with technical support. Project results: the original John Crane agitator seal was quoted at USD 7,800 with a six-month lead time. The Leakend Sealing System replacement averaged USD 3,000 with a two-month lead time. Project results include USD 4,800 saved per seal across 17 seals, totaling USD 81,600 over two years. The cited orders included technical support within 24 hours for one year.
Our work includes repeated failure of a Flowserve seal at NCIC in Ain Sokhna. The solution replaced a two-sleeve arrangement with a single sleeve and modified the seal gland. The reported mean time between repairs increased from two months to nine months or more.
