Industrial House announced the foundation stone for a new gypsum factory in East Ismailia's Technology Valley, supporting local manufacturing and exports.
Industrial House announced the foundation stone for Mahwar El Tanmia Gypsum Industries in the industrial zone of Technology Valley, East Ismailia. According to the company's official post, it is the first fully Egyptian project in the area, with investments exceeding US$12 million.
The factory is being developed on 50,000 square metres and is expected, upon completion of its phases, to create more than 500 jobs. Planned capacity exceeds 700,000 tonnes of gypsum plaster annually and 20 million square metres of gypsum boards.
The project supports the company's vision to deepen local manufacturing and expand into export markets, especially Africa, in support of Egypt's export plan and higher local value creation.
